Laptop Battery Recall

Laptop battery maker, Lenovo, has issued a recall for 205,000 batteries worldwide. Apparently the batteries could overheat and cause a fire.

Hellooo? Haven't we been through this already? Gotta wonder when the industry will begin to actually test these batteries more thoroughly before sending them out onto the market.

Lenovo recalls 205,000 laptop batteries

RALEIGH, N.C. - Lenovo Inc. recalled about 205,000 laptop computer batteries worldwide Thursday, warning that they could overheat and cause a fire.

The battery recall was the second for the company in the past six months and comes as Lenovo, the world's No. 3 computer maker, tries to gain ground on its better-known competitors.
